I've played with Priory Badminton Club since 2010 and wouldn't be anywhere else on Monday and Wednesday nights.

Hi my name is Rachel and I am the club secretary. What I love about the club is the friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to meet people who share similar interests. I have been a member since Summer 2025 and during that time I have enjoyed getting involved and helping the club grow. I first played badminton as a child, but instead of moving on to an adult club, I took a 10 year break from the sport. Now that I'm back, I'm loving it all over again and enjoying being part of such a welcoming community.

Hello there! I’m Sarah the Welfare Officer and Badmington England lead for the club. I’ve been with the club almost as long as Gary has, with a bit of time out for raising some little people. I have always loved how everyone is so friendly and welcoming at the club. My role is to help keep the club a safe space.

Hi, I am James, 45, from Gainsborough, Lincolnshire and I am the comms lead for the club. I am relatively new to the club, having joined January 2026. In the short time I have been at the club, every single person is really friendly and welcoming
Outside of badminton, I am married to Dan, and together we have a daughter, Darcey, along with our two cocker spaniels, Luna and Cora. I am a big fan of Lego and cruising holidays, well any holiday!
