I've played with Priory Badminton Club since 2010 and wouldn't be anywhere else on Monday and Wednesday nights.

Hi my name is Rachel and I am the club secretary. What I love about the club is the friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to meet people who share similar interests. I have been a member since Summer 2025 and during that time I have enjoyed getting involved and helping the club grow. I first played badminton as a child, but instead of moving on to an adult club, I took a 10 year break from the sport. Now that I'm back, I'm loving it all over again and enjoying being part of such a welcoming community.

Hi, my name is Nikki and I’m the club treasurer.
What I love most about the club is the people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, which made it so much easier to feel comfortable and settled in the club so quickly.
I’ve played badminton for most of my life, although I had a 10-year break due to a medical reason. It’s been so lovely to get back into the sport and be part of such a fantastic club. I’m really enjoying being back on court and helping to make a difference within the club.

Sarah Leyland
Hello there! I’m Sarah the Welfare Officer and Badmington England lead for the club. I’ve been with the club almost as long as Gary has, with a bit of time out for raising some little people. I have always loved how everyone is so friendly and welcoming at the club. My role is to help keep the club a safe space.
